OK, that's over-the-top a bit... but not much.

Here's the deal: I respect privacy. I don't collect any data that you don't volunteer, or provide/emit during the course of browsing the web in general.

My site uses a Google tracking cookie, unless your browser has been configured to reject cookies. The Google cookie allows me to get fairly intersting stats about the visitors to my site. It does not give me any information that would allow me to personally identify the visitors. Chances are pretty good that every other site you visit uses a Google tracking cookie too; so if it doesn't generally make a difference to you, it won't here either.
